At 23’ tall, NU-Edge® Trellix acts as a beacon for fun, learning, and growth in your community. The play starts at the ground level with rope and steel climbers surrounding the perimeter. Components such as Post Players may be incorporated at this level for added inclusive fun.
To enter the interior, a number of climbing options are available for kids of all ages and ability levels. The main structure of NU-Edge Trellix features a number of thematically shaped foot and handholds integrated into its design, which lead to a variety of entry points to the structure. A variety of twisting climbing nets similarly offer a unique entrance to the structure. Climbers may also use the 11’ accessible flextread path, which leads to an ADA-approved 8’ slide.
Once kids enter the structure, they can navigate a rope maze to a 14’ tunnel slide, building their strength, coordination, and proprioception on the way. Hangout spots are located throughout the interior and at the top of the structure, providing a space for kids to dream up imaginative play scenarios or socialize. Themed interactive components and lookout windows are located in these spots, providing further fuel for discovery.
The entire structure features perforated steel with thematic branches so caregivers can maintain sightlines. Colors of the steel, slides, and accent pieces may be chosen to ensure NU-Edge Trellix fits your aesthetic needs.
